LS4 brings to you our frame gusseting service. We have gusseted hundreds of frames for all different race applications. We have a lot of experience with this type of work and we also TIG weld all gussets for cosmetic appeal and also reduction of heat distortion and keeping material integrity.
Our gusset service includes sandblasting the frame to bare metal, inspecting for cracks, repairing cracks, welding the gusset kit to the frame, reinforcing critical factory welds, masking all threads and bearing surfaces, and re-powder coating to color of customers choice.
We offer gusset services for the following models:
KTM ATV, Raptor 125, Raptor 250, 400EX, TRX450, TRX90, and YFZ450. On select models, we will use the Teixeira Tech, LSR, or ATV Four-Play gusset tabs. It does not make sense for us to re-design and laser cut tabs for low-volume kits that are not done often. Price includes purchase of these tabs. Kits range from 20 - 50 pieces depending on the ATV model. Cost is directly related to the amount of pieces per kit.
For Powder Coat, we use Prismatic Powders. They offer a HUGE selection of top quality colors. They have a great website for selection of your powder-coat color. The price of this service includes single stage powder-coat colors. For any 2 stage colors, there will be a $50 upcharge. For 3 stage colors, there will be a $100 upcharge. This is due to the multiple coats and added processing time.
