Description

Our Rotor Guard / Swingarm skid plate for YFZ450R / X has been proven in the toughest conditions. Our top pro-riders have been running these long before we offered them to the public. Fits all YFZ450R / X models. We highly recommend drilling and taping your bolt holes to 8mm when installing this product. It is designed for 8mm bolts and the factory 6mm bolts are not enough. We have an optional kit available that provides everything you need to convert to M8 bolts (Drill and tap kit is out of stock).

Made from 3/16" stainless steel for extreme strength and durability
1/4" stainless lower guard for ground contact - sand will wear down mild steel quickly
Double gusseted for strength

Allows use of a dual sprocket guard on the sprocket side

*Optional kit available that provides the tap, correct drill bit size for tap, and 3 High Strength M8 bolts to convert from M6 bolts*

The factory M6 bolts on the bottom of swingarms used to mount rotor guards and swingarm skid plates will break off during hard impacts. This happens all the time to racers. When installing a rotor guard or swingarm skid, you need to upgrade the M6 bolts to M8.
