Description

This is a CP brand piston packaged by Moose Racing. The kit comes with a CP forged piston, a DLC coated pin, cir-clips, piston rings, and a Cometic brand top end gasket kit. This is a 14:1 compression, stock bore (96mm) piston. This kit includes everything you need to do a piston swap. We recommend this piston for high horsepower race applications.

• Moose pistons feature X-style forgings and fully boxed-style forgings for ultimate strength

• Full radius dome designs maximize quench while eliminating hot spots that promote detonation

• Internal bracing maximizes durability while decreasing friction in the pin assembly

• Fully boxed style (Race Pistons) forgings come standard with skirt coating which reduces friction, which in turn reduces heat

• Include a DLC pin; Diamond-Like Coating technology has been proven and used because of its high resistance to abrasive wear, which extends the service life and reliability under extreme conditions
